Meet the Visionaire

Sandara is an Ordained Itinerant Deacon in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. She serves as Pastor at Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. Church in Summerfield, Fl. She is called Pastor Sandara and also Lady Sandara, because of her leadership to the women in Missionary Society and Divine Jewels Women’s Ministry. Pastor Sandara has a passion for praise and worship, helping others find their purpose and leading God’s people to higher heights and deeper depths to the glory of God.  
 
She is the organizer and planner of women’s conferences, for the past 10 years these conferences bring women together annually to empower and equip them to REJOICE in every situation, because God has the final word. She serves in the community on the Victim Services Coalition Board, Domestic Violence Task Force and Metropolitan Urban League Board; she is employed with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office as a Victim Advocate where she assists victims of crime and survivors in crises situations.  
 
She is the Founder and President of DIVA Sisterhood offering services for, Women’s Conferences, Empowerment Workshops, Prayer Breakfast, Motivational Speaking, Life Coach for women, and Mentoring for Teen girls. In the ministry she leads the following events, Book Club, DIVA Sisterhood Women’s Fellowship, “Divine Inspiration for a Virtuous Attitude”, where we  support victims of Domestic Violence and Substance Abuse. She will start “The Young DIVA” Mentoring/Enrichment Summer Program this summer, empowering teen girls ages 10-18. This program is a year round program, where the girls we are taught about, attitude, self esteem, finances, inner beauty, teen dating, and etiquette.  
 
She lives by the scripture, "This is the day that the Lord has we shall rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24, she believes that everyday is a good day because God has allowed her to see another glorious day. While serving and leading God’s people, her goal is to let all people know, that with God, you will always win, no matter how bad it looks or feels.  
 
After 20 years, she went back to school to earn a BA in Psychology from Columbia College. She is currently enrolled at St. Thomas University, Miami, Fl. to earn a Master of Divinityand Master of Counseling. Her goal is to become a licensed therapist specializing in Mental Health and Family Counseling.  
 
Pastor Sandara is the oldest child and only daughter of Presiding Elder and Mrs. James O. Williams Sr. of the Daytona Beach District. She is the older sister of James Vincent, James Oscar Jr. and Michael Jarrod. She is the dedicated and supportive wife of Rev. Isaac L. Williams Sr., and the proud mother of two wonderful children Kenya Shanell and Isaac Leon Jr. (Daddy man) and her special gift from her husband (Max).
